24. Artificial intelligence is becoming a religion for the following reasons:
 25.

 26.
Science did not yet fully figure out how humans actually work which makes it impossible to verify or falsify allegations about a simulation of a humanoid wether it is functioning like a real human or not.

 27.
With state-of-the-art machine learning it becomes clear that nobody can fully comprehend our self-created technology. This uncertainty makes believing in what it does a necessity.

 28.
Artists do their best to overcome the uncanny valley of virtual beings, not only on a visual level but also on levels of interaction with the machines. They also potentially lie about what their machines can or can not do.

 29.

 30. "AITHEISM" is a play with words - cut the "intelligence" from "artificial intelligence" and it could seem obvious that it might be "just art" - a position that offers sceptical thinking about the topic and from which a new kind of "atheism" might emerge.
31. Is this new religion to be respected like "every other" religion?
35. Critical: The nation / culture which leads technologic development will get to define the moral values that can be taken out of this belief globally. That is why we should work together on this belief internationally from its very beginning.
